Blackbeard and First Mate Pop Bottle Decoration
For Blackbeard and his First Mate I cut the spout off 2 liter pop bottles and flipped them upside down. The background for the face shirt and pants are painted. Then I added felt features. There is no pattern I just kind of made them as I went.
The cannon is made from a paper towel roll and 2 round pieces of cardboard. I covered the edges of the cardboard with a thin strip of felt to cover up the corrigation of the cardboard. I added felt for the hub of the wheel and the fuse.
Cannon Ball is a Ping Pong Ball painted black.
Dead Men Tell No Tales
Rum Barrel
I made this out of a Cheese Ball container I got at Sam's club. I painted it all brown, and then added metalic gold for the rings. Don't worry about the lines being straight, the distressing covers the flaws. I then dry brushed black paint over it to distress it. I printed the label and Mod Podged the whole barrel.
Add a couple of dollar store skeletons, a treasure map and some coins and you have a cute display/cemterpiece.
For your adult parties, the barrel makes a "cool"
Ice Bucket
Glass Jar of Skulls
I used a spaghetti sauce jar but a mason jar or any other jar would work. The skulls were purchased at the Dollar Store. I added black lace and ribbon to the lid.
Pirate Booty Jar
Store your treasures or light it up. SVG is at the bottom of the Pirate Page for the pirate flag. No Cricut ? No Problem Mod Podge a pirate picture in the center. Then simply wrap the top and the bottom of the jar with jute. I glue the bandana to the lid so the jar will still open and pad it with polyfill. Add a skull and bow and you have a really cool Pirate Jar
Skull Treat Container
I cut a hole in the top of a dollar Store Skull and added a patch and some treasures. Great gift, party favor or prize for a game.
I used a lot of these Dollar Store Skulls for decorating, but they also work for a eye glasses holder. Kids will love this. They may actually use them and you won't have their glasses just tossed where ever they land.
These handy little boxes can be used for party favors or gift boxes. They are available here in 2 different sizes. These work the best with construction paper or card stock. Simply print and cut 2 (OF THE SAME SIZE) PDF file for each box.
Paste pieces together as shown.
Score and fold the center square.
Bring handle pieces to meet together at the top.
Bring each of the slotted sides up over the handle.
For this one I found a patterned background clipart and printed it on the back of the Keepsake Box pattern before I cut it out.
Large Curvy Keepsake Box is approximately 4" tall not including the handle
Small Curvy Keepsake Box is approximately 3" tall not including the handle

Pirate Flag
Print out the PDF File, Cut out the flags and glue them to a skewer or dowel. Caution: If using a cut dowel wrap the bottom with aluminum foil. Cut dowels may have splinters you do not want in your food. Make sure you glue the foil to the dowel so foil does not remain in your food when it's removed.

Hook The Skulls
See who can hook the most skulls in a allotted time frame.
Hooks are Red Solo Cups with an aluminum foil hook. I used a dowel for stability half way up. I used felt to cover the glue at the hook and around the base to give it more a more polished look. I glue pipe cleaners to dollar Store Skulls so your Pirates will have something to hook besides each other. (Yea that is Still going to happen however)
Hook Toss
See who can ring the most hooks. Attach the previous hooks to a board and decorate. Rings are just paper plates with the centers cut out.
Pirate Party Favors or Prizes
Hooks, Dollar Store Masks, (Yea they Light up) and eye patches (Printable above)
Cannon Ball Toss
Gather your pirates outside. Pair them up and have them stand face-to-face with their partners. Give a black water balloon to each set of pirates. Players that stand across from each other must toss the balloon back and forth until one of them drops it or breaks it, and is out of the game. Pair up those who are still in and repeat, until only one player remains.
To make it more challenging you can have players take a step back after each toss.
Cannonball Blast
A black balloon is tied to a string and the other end of the string is clipped or tied around the pirates leg. When the whistle blow it’s every man for themselves as players try to pop the other players cannons while at the same time trying not to get their balloon popped. They must do this without using their hands. The player whose cannon ball last the longest wins
