Snowman Crafts
This cute guy was made with chunky yarn, a styrofoam ball and cone, felt, a popsicle stick and ribbon.
Chunky Yarn Snowmen
The black wire "body' is a Dollar Tree candleholder. Styrofoam and chunky yarn were used for the head. There is a small piece of styrofoam between the 2 that I inserted the greens into. The eyes are wooden balls, the nose is a popsicle stick and the hat is from Dollar Tree.
For this one I used another candleholder with a candle as a hat and the nose is a Dollar Tree carrot leftover from Easter
Just the "Hat" makes a cute candleholder
Combine them all for a cute inexpensive mantel. Trees and Merry Christmas sign are from Hobby Lobby.
Busted Canvas Snowman Book Edition
For this it just dawned on me I really don't need to do the "canvas" part. Just ripping up pages of a book and gluing them down will work for the base. Snowman and Tree are from Dollar Tree
Dollar Tree Dice Snowman
Paint and Dollar Tree Dice can make a cute easy snowman.
* I found the dice in the Auto Section of DT.
Flakey Friends Snowman Sign
This is just a simple snowman painted on a Dollar Tree Canvas. I used the Cricut for the quote but you could use a paint pen.
Wooden Snowman
Add embellishments to any size block of wood for a fun gift or decoration
Melting Snowman
I covered a piece of white felt with polyfil for the base. The snowman's head is a styrofoam ball. The Top Hat is made like the instructions in the ornaments section (Below) only I used a slice of pool noodle instead of the TP Roll as a base. I then added felt accents to finish him.
3D Standing Snowman
I used 2 of the DT styrofoam disks and covered them with polyfill and crystal glitter. Inserted dowels to put them together. Boots are from the FREE boot pattern on our Sock Gnome Page. (I did make them bigger) Felt eyes and nose, 1/2 wooden balls (see Sock Gnome Page) for mouth and buttons and sticks for arms.
Sneezins Greetings Tissue Holder
Toilet Paper Roll Snowman
Bathroom Decor
Snowman Mug Toppers
Snowman is styrofoam balls wrapped in chunky yarn. Add some accessories to finish.
Wine Bottle Snowman
Wines bottles can be a good canvas. This face was painted on.
Wine Bottle Light Up Snowman
I printed out the sheet music of "Let It Snow" I found on Google and Mod Podged it to a wine bottle. The snowman face and hat are a DT ornament. I dripped hot glue for the melting snow, painted it white. Then added another layer of Mod Podge and some crystal glitter over both the snow and the sheet music.
I've been adding lights to wine bottles for years but it's always involved drilling a hole in the bottle for the chord to go through. These are the coolest things EVER. Battery operated lights that fits into the bottle like a cork.

Stack Em Snowmen
This one is EASY. The snowman heads came from Dollar Tree. I didn't change them at all. They are styrofoam, (the hat too) I just used a dowel and glued them together and glued them to a wooden disk (also DT) I added some hot glue painted white and mod podged for the snow, but they are also cute without it
Fraggled Snowmen
This one has been trending on social media. I thought mine looked more wind blown then fraggled so I went with it. I used styrofoam balls as the base covered in long fur. Instructions for the boots are on the Sock Gnome Page. Eyes are wooden balls. For the nose I used hot glue.
Use a 2nd Dollar Tree top hat as the base of your snowman. This is 2 of the clear plastic ornaments I removed the hanger and painted white. I notched out both of the top hats so the stem of the ornament would fit inside. Then glued the 2 ornaments bottom side together. The face is a sticker and the nose is hot glue (See Below) Wired ribbon that can "Blow in the breeze" finishes him off.
I'm Fine
It's Fine
Everything is Fine
This guy is Dollar Tree Microfiber Dust Pad I glued to styrofoam balls. Wooden eyes, a carrot from Easter for the nose, DT hat I cut up for the scarf too. The boots Traci found on a clearance rack years ago, so I have no idea where you would find them now but they are purple MOON BOOTS. Do you remember Moon Boots ?
Crown Royal Snowman
Dollar Tree Microfiber Dust Pad and styrofoam balls are the base. Hat and scarf are Royal Crown bags. I like to use the trim of the bag to trim out the hat. Line up the eyelets so it looks like eyes. Nose is a DT carrot from Easter. Purple Moon Boots were clearance rack find. Crown bottle is filled with TEA. Chalk board is from Dollar Tree, lettering was done on the Cricut.
Dollar Tree Stackable Snowman
I painted the whole thing with white chalk paint and matte mod podge. I then applied a sticker face to the backside. (Smooth Surface) and a carrot nose leftover from Easter. The hat and scarf are a DT baby blanket. Sticks for arms. Gloves and pom pom snowballs are from Dollar Tree. Added buttons and a sign I cut out on the Cricut. I added some melting snow. (Hot glue, white paint, gloss mod podge and crystal glitter. With or without the lights she is really cute.
Melted Snowman Cupcakes
Apparently actual snowmen are NOT an ingredient in snowman cupcakes.
Dollar Tree muffin pan I distressed with some metallic paint. Melted hot glue covered with gloss mod podge and crystal glitter and snowman "parts".
Can't Paint a Face ?
Decoupage is an alternative. Simply Print and Mod Podge

Dollar Tree Dice Snowman
Blue Christmas Snowman
This is one of those projects that went a totally different direction from what was intended. I wanted to use this face, however it printed out with a blue cast to the background, so I just kind of went with it.

I got mine from Amazon. They are good size and easy to work with. I heard some talk about having seen stickers at Dollar Tree, I've never found them there
I'm 2 Sided
Snowman Shelf Sitter
This was done on a DT metal mason jar shelf sitter. Hat is popsicle sticks and face is a sticker.
This would be a great project for a kid's group or even a senior center. Stickers make it really easy and inexpensive.
Snowman Jar
This was also done with the stckers. One of the advantages is that each feature is individual. You can put the eyes as close or as far apart as you like. You can replace any of the features. In this case I used a carrot I got from Dollar Tree during Easter. This was a pickle jar I simply painted white, added the stickers and a hat. (The hat I only glued to the lid so the jar can still be used.)
Light Up Snowman
This was done with 2 Dollar Tree Fish Bowls (when we owned the flower shop we called them Bubble Bowls) I used mod podge and crystal glitter inside the bowls. This one has 2 strands of fairy lights, I placed one in each bowl. I glued the bowls together, open sides together, leaving the on/off stitch outside and hiding it with the scarf, I just used hot glue so if the lights need to be replaced it can be pulled apart. I put a bead of hot glue on each side of the light cord so it wouldn't be squished. The boots are from Dollar Tree and those are attached with both hot glue and E6000. Hat is felt I rolled, glued and added chunky yarn trim. Arms are pipe cleaners, Mittens are felt. Face is a sticker.
Another way to add a face to your snowman is to cut it with a Cricut or Silhouette. These are SVG Files although they were designed for a Cricut or similar, they are printable.

Glass Globe Snowman
The face for this one was cut with the Cricut. (I used an artificial berry for the nose). I painted this one with chalk paint and sealed it with Mod Podge, it does not light up, it is opaque. I wanted it a solid white for the contrast. Skates and hat are from Dollar Tree.

No Cricut, No Problem
These faces were printed on a regular ink jet printer on to clear printable vinyl and cut out with a scissors. You can make your own stickers any size you want without a Cricut.
Clear ornaments filled with a little Mop N Glow turned upside down in a cup for 1 or 2 minutes to drain excess and then filled with glitter, dump excess glitter. Faces (from the faces images) printed on clear printable vinyl sheets. Hats made out of DT socks, a cut up stretchy shirt that I found at Family Dollar on clearance for $2.00 and DT pompoms.
Mix and Match and make your own faces
These are SVG Files although they were designed for a Cricut or similar, they are printable.

Noses
Make a nose from hot glue. Make a circle with hot glue on a surface it will peel off from. Silicone mat is ideal or aluminum foil will work (although sometimes it sticks in which case cut off as much as possible when done and paint over it.) Wait for it to cool and place another smaller circle on top of it, wait for it to cool and place another smaller circle etc. Basically stacking them to make a cone. When you get desired height. They don't have to be perfect, especially for this. Let it cool and paint it orange (2 coats) and cover it with gloss mod podge. Takes a little bit of time but inexpensive.
Cut down a craft stick and paint it orange for a cute nose.

An empty toilet paper roll

Top Hat Gift Box
Paint a Dollar Tree cylinder shaped gift box black add a felt circle to the bottom for the brim. I used Mod Podge to hold the paint and stiffen the felt and add the glitter. Add ribbon and some embellishments. Remove the top and fill with treats or a small gift.
This would also be cute as a Tree Topper.
Snow Flakes and Winter
Snowflake Shelf
This can be used beyond Christmas
The buildings and tree are Dollar Tree I just painted white and added some Diamond Dust. It's actually cuter then the pic, they don't photograph well. They also light up with changing colored lights (Not my style, but some may like it.)
Let It Snow SOMEPLACE ELSE
Snowmen and Winter Decor can last long after Christmas. I live in Michigan this sign can be appropriate til the end of April. But the good news you can find a lot of these things on after Christmas clearance racks.
Dollar Tree wooden snowflake, I added one of their wooden plaques as a shelf. I used the DT Jenga Blocks as braces. Painted all the parts white and glued it together. Jute and white beads for a hanger. This is great to use as an alternative to a tiered tray for those of us who lack counter space.
