Comic Book Gnome
This is a sock gnome. To make gnome clothes doesn't take much material. So rather then buy yards of material or even 1/2 yards and end up with lots leftover that needs to be stored, Walmart offers these little "Fat Quarters". 18in x 22in cotton fabric pieces for $1-$3. You can get lots more variety this way, even licensed material.
Comic Book Jar
Material or comic book pages can be Mod Podged to a jar for a fun look.
Don't use your kid's favorite comic book for this :D

TYPES OF FILES
SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphic. (Also known as a digital cut file.) SVGs are most commonly used with the Cricut and Silhouette cutting machines.

Superman
Superman Light Up Jar
This one I did a little different. I painted all but the Superman Logo area with blue acrylic paint. (Yea after looking at pics it should have had another coat. Not Perfect is OK !! ) Where the logo was going I mixed yellow paint with Mod Podge, I wanted the light to shine through there. The Superman Logo here is vinyl cut with a Cricut, but the pattern is easy enough you could use red paper and a scissors and Mod Podge it on. I used a last coat of Mod Podge on just the area where the light shines through and sprinkled it with Crystal Glitter/Diamond Dust. Covered the lid with red felt and gave him a cape. Not Perfect but I like it.

Walmart sells what they call Fat Squares of material, they usually run $2-$3. Even the licensed stuff. It's a great way to get fabric without buying a lot.

Batman Milk Jug
I cut a hole in a milk jug and painted it grey. Added a felt logo and felt cape. Great for a Gift Basket, Easter Basket or Valentine Holder
Batman Light Up Jar
A simple Batman Logo on a spaghetti jar, some paint and glitter and of course a cape. It lights up to make a great night light, keeping the whole room safe. This is a great kid's project.
Sometimes the Real Heroes are Under the Masks. I found these at Party City. Not very expensive and great for Photo Ops

I covered a cereal box with red paper and added some black squares to make the building. Printed and Cut Out the Spiderman Clipart and glued it on. I used white yarn for the webbing but it probably would look better with the fake webbing you can get at Halloween
